Created for the Character Modeling project of my 3D Modeling class, "Planet Girl" served as a great learning process to humanoid character modeling with primitives.

First step in the creation process was to sketch the general shape to assist in modeling with primitives

First Draft

The initial draft of the model used Lambert materials, I changed the rendering method to Maya's "toon" preset as I thought the overall look was more appealing.

I ended up using this model in two more of the projects for the class:

Ghost & Flatwoods Monster

These were pet projects inspired by my love for horror & cryptids. These models were initially created with no single purpose in mind, but they have gone on to appear in several smaller projects of mine.

Ghost serves as my go-to placeholder model for enemies in prototypes
